Interview Workshop

A hands-on working session for senior+ design leaders (ICs & Managers) actively interviewing for their next role.

✅ Get clear feedback
✅ Highlight your strengths
✅ Sharpen your story
✅ Grow your confidence

How it works

This is a 45-minute 1:1 working session, shaped around where you are in the process and what you need right now.

You’ll:

  • Share links to relevant context (e.g. interview guides, job descriptions, case studies)

  • Set a focus when you book: the challenge you’re facing, or the stage you want to prep for

  • Use the session to practice, role play, or workshop the hard bits—with honest, experienced feedback throughout

It’s not theory. It’s tailored, practical, and focused on helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.

This is for you if

You have a pretty clear idea of what your next role looks like, you just need help showing up at your best.

You could be:

  • Early in your search: You’ve had some initial calls but want to sharpen your portfolio, case studies, CV or approach to make a stronger start.

  • In the interview process: You’re prepping for a key stage and want real-time practice and actionable feedback on the strength of signal you’re demonstrating.

  • Near offer stage: You want a clear head, an external perspective, and stronger conviction before saying yes—or negotiating.

These sessions aren’t for broad career exploration or general hiring advice. They’re most valuable when you have a clear, practical outcome in mind.

If you’re interviewing for a role with one of the following titles, this is designed for you:

  • Senior, Lead, Staff, or Principal Product Designer

  • Manager, Senior Manager, Director, Head of Product Design

While I’ve interviewed candidates across many disciplines, my deep hiring expertise is in product design and design management. That’s where I know what strong signal looks like, and how to help you show it.

Why me

I’ve spent 20 years in product design, hired over 100 people (product designers and design managers), and interviewed more than I can count, for companies like BuzzFeed in New York, Babylon Health during its scale-up phase, and Monzo as Director of Product Design.

Why this matters

You’re about to make a decision that could shape the next few years of your life; how you grow, who you learn from, what you get paid.

For something that important, a bit of expert feedback can go a long way.

Pay what you can

My typical rate for this kind of session is £200.

If you’re currently employed in a senior+ role, your support helps make this sustainable and allows me to offer flexible pricing to those who need it.

If you’ve been laid off or are finding it tough to land the right role, pay whatever feels easy.

Absolutely no judgement of questions asked. My main goal is to support the design community.

8 spots only

This is a limited, one-day-only offer—just 8 sessions.

If the demand’s there, I’ll run more. But for now, it’s an experiment in learning how I can best support the product design community.
